ZUFI stands for ZUCIR Foundation Inc. It is a non-stock, non-profit
association duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission
with Certificate of Incorporation No. A-1998-702 dated March 13, 1998.
ZUFI is committed to sponsor scholars and such other qualified
individuals engaged in academic pursuit to the extent its finances could
sustain, with high school and college studies as top priorities. ZUFI
expects its grantees to be actively involved in community
volunteer-service and other socio-civic activities.
ZUFI
may award four (4) types of grant, namely;

School Scholarship
·
College Scholarship
·
Faculty Enhancement Grant
·
Academic Contestants’ Aid
ZUFI has set the following standards for high school and college
scholarship:
· Academic
Standard
– General average of at least 85% with no grade lower than 80% in any
academic subject
·
Moral
Standard
– Of good moral character and with no criminal record and must remain
single for the duration of high school or college scholarship
Honor
students residing in the province who has a weighted general average of
85% and above as reflected in his/her form 138 and related documents
shall contact the ZUFI Secretary/ Executive Director based in Zumarraga
who is authorized to entertain scholar applicants who shall in turn
submit said documents to the Board for consideration. Those residing in
Metro Manila may contact
any available trustee.
Incumbent teachers and allied educational workers in
the province who would like to further grow professionally and complete
their desired degrees (undergraduate, graduate and post graduate) but
have no access to a formal classroom attendance may avail of the
Distance Education / Open University Program. Interested parties may
